Floating Light, Infinite Vision
Currently, most Ferris wheels are merely traditional amusement rides, with monotonous designs and underutilized nighttime economic value. Furthermore, traditional LED displays cannot be adapted to the curved or pole-shaped irregular structures of Ferris wheels, and installation can easily damage the existing architecture and obstruct visitors’ views.
Addressing these pain points, MileStrong’s STH series holographic transparent LED displays, with their flexibility, high transparency, and ease of maintenance, offer a customized integrated display solution for Ferris wheels, balancing architectural safety, visitor experience and commercial operation.

The Core Advantages of STH Series Transparent LED Display
- Ultra-Thin & Flexible, Non-destructive Installation
At just 1.8mm thick and 2–6kg per square meter, the display bends freely to conform to the Ferris wheel’s rim, spokes, and curved surfaces — no modification to the existing steel frame or facade required.
- High Transparency, Unobstructed Views
With 92–95% light transmittance, the screen virtually disappears when powered off. During the day, passengers enjoy fully unobstructed views, preserving the core experience of the ride.
- Naked-Eye AR Visuals, Built for the Night Economy
Stunning 3D floating imagery — no external devices needed. The immersive effect naturally drives social sharing, transforming the Ferris wheel into an iconic urban landmark.
- Self-Calibrating Intelligence, Minimal High-Altitude Maintenance
An onboard FLASH chip automatically stores color and brightness calibration data.
- Dual-Mode Control, Maximum Operational Flexibility
Supports both synchronous and asynchronous control, compatible with mobile app, USB drive, PC, LAN, and cloud-based management — enabling remote content updates and device control across any operational model.
Installation & Technical Specifications
Structural Layout
- Reserve a 2m × 2m clearance zone around the Ferris wheel’s central hub — no display panels to be installed in the mechanical and power core area.
- Prioritize mounting on the outer face of radial spokes for more balanced load distribution.
- Central hub power consolidation is recommended to minimize high-altitude wiring and improve overall safety.
Substrate & Mounting Requirements
- Mounting surfaces must be glass or metal only. Acrylic is strictly prohibited — prolonged sun exposure causes yellowing and warping.
- Secure all panels using dedicated mounting hardware.
Protection & Environmental Conditions
- Outdoor deployments require a customized IP68-rated protection upgrade.
- Operating temperature range: -20°C to 50°C.
- A site-specific environmental assessment must be completed prior to installation, based on local climate conditions.
Electrical Specifications
- Universal input voltage: AC100–240V, 50/60Hz compatible.
- Peak power consumption: 535–865W per m². Size the power distribution system according to total display area, with adequate capacity reserve built in.
Commercial Value
- Advertising Revenue
- Tourism & Footfall
- Competitive Differentiation
- Long-Term Cost Efficiency

The MileStrong STH Series is purpose-built to meet the three defining demands of Ferris wheel deployments — complex curved structures, high-altitude maintenance constraints, and a stunning viewing experience. Flexible, highly transparent, and structurally non-invasive, the display delivers striking visuals while integrating seamlessly with intelligent control systems.
The result: an ordinary Ferris wheel transformed into an iconic urban night destination — one that generates revenue through advertising and nighttime entertainment.
