Ensuring Real-Time Display of Critical Data: Fine-Pitch LED Displays Enable Efficient Decision-Making in Command Centers

📅 August 6, 2026

Recently, the MileStrong micro-pitch LED display system was officially installed at the City Integrated Emergency Command Center, where it has completed comprehensive testing and is now in regular operation.

The entire large-screen system offers stable real-time data visualization capabilities, breaking down barriers between citywide monitoring, government coordinating, and risk warning.It establishes a modern command system for the city based on “a single screen for comprehensive overview, rapid decision-making, and coordinated response,” laying a solid foundation in display technology for integrated decision-making regarding urban emergency response, public security, and traffic management.

Why Do Command Centers Choose LED Displays?

As the “central brain” of urban operations, command centers need to aggregate massive amounts of complex information around the clock, including GIS maps, real-time monitoring and emergency alert reports.

Traditional display equipment had significant shortcomings:

  • large gaps between screen panels caused loss of detail in fine data and surveillance footage;
  • standard large screens had insufficient refresh rates, resulting in motion blur and delays in displaying dynamic traffic flows and pedestrian trajectories;
  • and equipment stability was limited, making it difficult to support 24/7 uninterrupted monitoring.

To meet the stringent requirements for real-time performance, high clarity, and reliability in command and control scenarios, this project selected MileStrong’s P1.25 micro-pitch COB display, which fully meets all display needs.

  • The screens are almost seamlessly integrated, providing a complete and continuous visual experience.There are no visual breaks when displaying city-wide locations, surveillance details, or numerical curves;
  • Equipped with high-refresh-rate driver chips, it delivers millisecond-level signal response. Dynamic data streams and real-time video are output synchronously without delay, ensuring information is presented completely and immediately.
  • It also employs low-brightness, high-gray-scale display technology to reduce eye strain during prolonged viewing. Combined with an automatic light-sensing dimming system, it dynamically adjusts brightness based on the hall’s ambient lighting, maintaining clear visibility during both day and night shifts.

The entire system features strong multi-signal compatibility, capable of simultaneously integrating multiple surveillance channels, operational systems, and live footage from drones. It also supports window splitting, dragging, and cross-screen display, allowing dispatchers to view multidimensional data—such as crowd heat maps, equipment operating parameters, and police resource distribution—on a single large screen without having to repeatedly switch between devices. This enables them to intuitively identify information correlations and significantly reduce the time required to analyze data.

At the hardware level, the system is equipped with a dual-redundant power supply and signal redundancy solution. A failure in a single module does not affect the operation of the entire display, meeting the command center’s standards for high-intensity, year-round operation and eliminating the risk of critical data gaps.

What Changes Have Occurred after Installing Led Displays?

Since the project went into operation, efficiency has improved significantly.

In situations such as traffic congestion, safety hazards, and emergency incidents, the large screen can simultaneously display relevant data from across the entire area. Commanders can use this comprehensive, real-time visual information to quickly pinpoint the problem, allocate resources, and respond promptly.

During department-wide collaboration, a unified high-definition display interface eliminates information gaps. This effectively enhances the speed of coordinated responses among multiple agencies, truly empowering scientific decision-making through visualization technology.

Committed to Innovation and Continuous Improvement

As an LED display manufacturer with rich experience in the government and enterprise visualization field, MileStrong continues to focus on key scenarios such as command centers, emergency response centers, and energy dispatch centers, advancing micro-pitch display technology to address the two core requirements of real-time data presentation and round-the-clock stable operation.

In the future, we will continue to refine its integrated command and display solutions. By combining distributed workstations with intelligent visualization platforms, it will provide more stable and efficient large-screen support for smart city and emergency management projects across the country, helping localities build modern, digital, and intelligent command and dispatch systems.
